Matt, I know you don’t want to hear this but State is really playing well right now. And, as our “favorite” announcer Bardo said, “It is March and it is Izzo.” We may not like it but it is true. We will have to play very well to beat them, and without Eli I haven’t seen us be the same team. Plus State certainly won’t be tired, they play like 100 guys!
OK, so now, having said all that, I’m glad Dylan doesn’t have a “dislike” button on here!

MSU fans INSISTED even 2 weeks ago that Hoggard needed to be in the top 5 grouping, and not Rocket.
Yeah, Silver–I peeked into the MD game and realized that my comment was a bit ill-timed! But let’s not forget how these narratives rise and fall. It wasn’t long ago that we were dubbing Tom “the Fizzler,” etc. as they fell apart at tourney time. From what I can see he has rescued a season–and a lot of talent–from the arms of outright disaster. If they travel deep into March-April, I will reconsider!
Hoggard is… not good. I don’t really understand why he plays so much.

For the life of me I cannot tell when a foul on a three where the defender taps the shooter’s hand just after the shot is a foul or not a foul. Can someone enlighten me?

Ahh the classic MSU Strategy of they can’t call every foul, so we will get away holding on most drives.
It was very unfortunate that Izzo could steal minutes with Hoiberg on Zeb. Not great.
