It is funny how things change. Less than two years ago he was scuffling in Champaign and people were questioning if his defense was worse than Iowa. He gets Ayo and Kofi, stops playing reckless defense, and now he’s a genius. The truth is probably in the middle.
Dang I never would’ve thought Illinois could win consecutive road games @ Wisconsin @Michigan and @ Ohio State. And the first two without Ayo.

Yes to both. He’s definitely ticked that the best Illinois team in 15 years isn’t winning the big ten because of perceived favoritism. He is also a big jerk and has a very abrasive personality.
Illinois claiming they deserve to be co champions only makes sense IFwe lose to MSU. Until that happens it sounds like irrational crybaby stuff.

If he wanted to be Co-Big Ten champs maybe they shouldn’t have lost to MSU, Maryland, Rutgers and OSU at home.

If we lose tomorrow, I’m more than fine with Illinois raising a banner. I don’t think we would have lose any of the three games but it was possible. But if we beat MSU, it’s against all logic that we’d have gone 1-2.

Michigan is Illinois version of B1G Championship game. They played with increased intensity that I didn’t see them all year and they really wanted that win.
If anything the league punished us by not giving us three highly winnable games. We could easily be 17-2 right now.
