Right…but we’re late enough in the season where picking winning % seems like siding with Michigan, and picking “games back” (is there an official name for this method?) seems like siding with Illinois. If Michigan wins tonight, it’s irrelevant, so I expected the announcement tomorrow at the earliest (otherwise, as I said above, they prob should have done this weeks ago when multiple teams could have still won either way).
I’m sure they are announcing it now so that Michigan can celebrate a championship if they win. Kind of takes the air out of it if you find out you won a championship in a press release while sitting in your apartment.

I hope they have massive amounts of celebratory trolling materials ready to roll out towards the end of the game like it was the unveiling of the Little Brown Jug. I want trophies, title belts, a banner, and more confetti than the end of a Blue Man Group concert.
