It’s a little more defensible when tied, but I agree. I’d much rather run a high ball screen with enough time to actually go to work and create.

Hero ball is the right move there in a tie game. Very different than down 1. Settling for a step back 27-footer, maybe not.

Haven’t been optimistic about much of anything basketball related the past two days, but this OT is great. Either OSU is crushed, or Illinois won’t be hanging a Big Ten banner at all despite their crying. Very fun for me.

That’s my point, run a screen or get things moving. Doest mean you have to have to pass necessarily but that play is easy to defend and secure a rebound and no chance of drawing a foul.

I find the last part hard to believe, but if OSU doesn’t get our 1 seed, maybe I agree? I’m torn.

I am also surprised more teams haven’t tried drastically triple teaming him in the post since he doesn’t pass. If I am a mid major that has little chance of winning I might try something like that.
