Bart Torvik has him as their second best player despite his 14% usage and fairly meager stats outside of ORating. He must be huge for the on/off defensive splits.

I still take Purdue. OSU has the scorers/shooters to blow up offensively regardless with Washington, Liddell, Ahrens, Walker etc. Purdue just doesn’t have that offensive explosion IMO. And once again, if Hunter struggles or gets in foul trouble, Davis can’t hang against OSU but he can against Purdue.
No Young does make OSU an easier opponent though.
