As 30 point losses go this felt way worse to me than the Rutgers game. 0.86 ppp at home against Iowa is catastrophic.

I don’t think he doesn’t matter. I think I’ve talked about how he makes it much easier to double Garza. I just like to make fun at hype he’s gotten all of the sudden now that he’s missed a few games.

I’m going to join the @buckets12 brigade. I was high on CJ at the start of the year (surprised he didn’t make the preseason Top 25) and like that Iowa is building quality depth.

Dismiss Iowa at your own peril.

I think Iowa is probably ranked about right right now in terms of national perception. They are in that 10-15 range IMO. Should be a 4 seed in the tourney it feels like? Maybe a 3?

Warning for the board - the high school team I help coach has a game at 7:00pm eastern Thursday, directly during Iowa @ Wisconsin.

Please do not interpret my silence during that game in this thread as ducking smoke. I will be here after to make massive amounts of anti-Wisconsin jokes at everyone’s expense and/or lick my wounds publicly.

No idea - wouldn’t be the strangest thing ever. Regardless, it just seems like a miserable situation/awful fit for all involved.
