They got it to single digits… but it’s still Nebraska.
Edit: they put Carr back in now.

This is like the second time this year I’ve rooted for Maryland and I’m already tired of Turgeon. I don’t know how Terp fans do it.
Carr should’ve just fouled out on a blatant forearm shove but the refs didn’t call it.
Oohhh. Carr just got away with his 5th foul on a pushoff that the ref swallowed his whistle on
You’re not kidding. This is intolerable
That’s a shame. But if the precedent is set…
Maryland is total garbage. I feel for all Terp fans.
Feels like a larger gap than 5, but not particularly confident this is going to trend back Maryland’s way
All things considered it could be worse for Maryland. Only down 5 despite letting OSU go 8/16 from 3 that half. Plus 2 fouls on Ahrens, Liddell and Sueing.
If Turgeon can make some halftime adjustments with regards to defending the 3 point line, and also realize his team is so much better playing 4 guards instead of 3 forwards, Maryland has a chance. My hopes aren’t high.
Maryland is in worse program purgatory than Iowa. You can argue that Iowa may be close to its ceiling, but Turgeon’s predecessor at Maryland won a national title. He may be the ultimate example of a guy who wins just enough to not get fired.
I haven’t watched one second of this game but based on this thread I assumed Maryland would be down like 20 haha…5 point game at half against #4 in the country, is it that bad?
They were up 8 early, and then they forgot how to play perimeter defense. OSU is 50% from 3 but they have missed like 4-5 open shots.
I’m not holding my breath.
I think it was in this thread talking about how there isn’t too many X’s and O’s Announcers, but Beilein has been great every time I hear him call.
What, you mean most likely running this team back next year without Smith and Morsell (potentially Scott as well) and adding 0 top 75 recruits doesn’t excite you?
Turn the game on for a few minutes and you’ll see.
Well, if we were holding out hope for some inspired Turgeball out of halftime, I think the opportunity has passed.
I have a Maryland friend who is convinced that Marcus Dockery is the program savior at PG, a Juan Dixon/Melo Trimble caliber centerpiece…I don’t understand.
I was planning on staying up for this one but I can’t do it. Here’s hoping that me going to bed inspires the Turginator and his charges.
OSU is 1-9 shooting this half and has extended its lead. Terps…
