Big Ten Basketball 2020-21 Discussion (Part 1)

The fact that MSU has no one who can get the rim with any regularity is baffling. Every drive results in either a jump stop and tough fade away or a blocked layup.

Rutgers stinks

Young has been badddd. How many possessions has he already singlehandedly set ablaze?

at least 3

Every time I watch Henry play, I shake my head in disbelief at the preseason all conference talk.

McConnell just pump faked an open 3 to take a contested one. Beautiful basketball being played.

Are these the 2 least skilled teams in the league?

“White 11 flop” lol

Izzo has such a peculiar expression on his face this year. He looks like a new coach who has inherited his players from a recently fired moron and he has to coach a ton of bad habits out of them.

This game is so boring that Gus and Jim are doing anything they can to avoid discussing it.

I’ve seen better halves of basketball

In the first meeting this year, MSU and Rutgers played one of the worst halves of basketball we’ve seen in conference play. The score at the half was 28-22 MSU.

They’ve managed to outdo themselves this time around by playing to a 26-20 Rutgers lead at the half. Same score differential, but somehow fewer points scored. Just chef’s kiss.

Hopefully Rutgers can do what MSU did in the 2nd half the first game.

who farted?

Everything about this game has been pure stupid and perfectly encapsulated by that last Rutgers possession. Just so bad.

Well done MSU. I’ve never seen such a putrid PPP while actually having a pretty good shot distribution (although I will say I slightly question how some of those shots are charted because only 6 other 2’s for MSU seems very low).

Seems like a generous Rutgers scorekeeper marking missed awkward floaters as layups.

Baker’s legitimately looked good this half

Kithier looks so out of place
