I turned on the Maryland/Iowa game just as Maryland went up 19-9 and Iowa proceeded to go on their 40-5 run or whatever it was

Thereās no B1G team better than us. Not saying we will win the conference, but thereās not a team I donāt think we could take in a 7 game series. Our improved defense just has me so hyped.

Idk, it depends on the behind the scene dynamics in my opinion. I didnāt play after high school or anything so I will defer to those who did if they have different opinions, but we respected the hell out of our coach junior and senior year. When we played terrible, heād get in our faces a bit and pretty much just yell at us to do better for the team and it was like āoh wow, this dude we respect is pissed off. Letās, like, be better.ā And it generally worked. If the JV coach we had earlier in school did that weād respond horribly because he was a bad coach and we had like no buy in from the team.

NW up 15 at half. Lead was 4 when Ayo sat with 2 fouls at about 9 minutes left, though I think he did come back in for a very short stretch. Damage was already done.

100% this. If you have a good coach, you respect him/her enough to listen when then get on your sh!t. Itās usually because you deserve it.

Absolutely, and I get the relationship with the coach matters. And so does the maturity level and personality of the player. I had some tough coaches that I respected. But I never had any coaches who screamed at me like that though, and I do not think that I, personally, would have responded to it very well. In fact, I know I wouldnāt have.
