something is terribly broken with Gabe Kalscheur. 42% 3pt shooter as a freshman, he’s now under 20%. But still shooting 90% on FTs.
And some of his misses were real bad. All wide open looks too.
I said that during the Saint Louis game. He’s completely devolved as a shooter. I don’t know what the heck happened to him. From one of the better shooters in the league to just abysmal for no apparent reason.
Usually there’s a strong correlation between FT% and 3pt%. Kalscheur has gone from 75% to 91% at the line. And his 3s are wide open! None of it makes sense
Lucky for him, Michigan will probably foul him on one of his threes.
From nailing 5/11 in the NCAA tourney against a legit team and >40% on the year to whatever this year is. Weird fall for sure.
Man, Minnesota is getting more wide open looks than Michigan got today. And they are somehow making less of them than we did!
247th in 3P% entering today, they are a terrible shooting team.
Didn’t realize that. Crazy how open they are and how much they are missing though none the less.
Never a boring game from Joe Toussaint
Impressed with big guy for Minny, Liam Robbins. Very good defender and banging down on the block. Making Garza earn his points
He has been playing very well. He has had some very manly rebounds this game.
Nothing more devastating than giving up an OReb and-1
Pretty sure Robbins forced a tough miss guarding Garza. Not his fault for Oreb. Whoever guarding Wieskamp didnt box out
Iowa is going to hang on. Strong performance by Minnesota though.
Terrible shot by Robbins and Gach with back to back terrible plays on both ends there.
That’s a flagrant 1
I dont like changing the call on the court to Flagrant unless you can clearly show intent. Toussaint had no idea Carr was there. Play on
Intent doesn’t matter for a flagrant 1 thought right? You are still responsible for your body in that situation. I get not changing it, but that’s why you have replay.
Does Pitino seriously coach these long pull-up 2s?
