Coaching, baby! Got among the worst in the business.
Maryland started the game 5/5 for three in the first 5 minutes and Jalen Smith has only played 4 minutes! Crazy to me that they can’t even play Maryland sans-Smith relatively evenly at home after that 3 point burst. In the second half, Smith is gonna come in and destroy them.
I’ve still never gotten used to their floor. It’s like watching an old movie that was colorized.

Maryland is 3-10 on layups and 1-for-something on 3s and the Gophers are shooting the lights out . . . how is this not like a 20-point game right now?
It’s still the first half though, you can only build so big of a lead.
PSU is gonna be a great team to fade in the tournament. Good metrics, but neutral refs are gonna seriously reduce them.
I guess! My reaction was in the context of Jalen Smith going out with Minnesota up 12 and ten minutes later they wre only up 8. Seems like a huge waste
