So cool reading this thread. I have one daughter, she’s 14 now, and for the past two years has grown into a huge Michigan fan with me. We’re in Jayhawk land but she proudly wears her Michigan gear to school and man that just hits hard. My wife’s becoming a bigger fan too and it’s just incredible getting to share in Michigan’s success with the two loves of my life.

Also, all season long my daughter would come sit down and say “Whatcha reading? Umm-hoops again?” For some reason she thinks it’s hilarious, and I’m like for the love of God it’s not “umm” the U and M are separate, for Universi… never mind.

I’ll do a little bit of the inverse here. For all the Dad’s with kids whether it’s Michigan bball specific bond or anything else. It’s just the coolest thing in the world to be able to turn to your Dad and just do whatever makes you happy. Like it’s all the little things that add up and make me really appreciate all that my Dad did for me and with me to bond over college basketball. Like just last week none of my friends went to Chicago so we went together and it’s just my favorite thing ever for us to get Pizza delivered to our hotel for us to eat while we lay in bed. It’s all about the journey in my opinion and while watching Michigan absolutely obliterate Tennessee was awesome or how I’m bummed the chaos of the natty prevented us from meeting up after the game, I’m gonna remember him and my mom delivering me and my friends a Pizza as we laid on the concrete outside Lucas Oil for 7 hours. Like I literally laughed out loud when Aday lost the jump ball because I know he had the post ready to go assuming he won it and probably got upset when he lost it and had to change the record before posting it haha

All this to say it’s never about what you’re doing (okay maybe a little because I really f-ing love Michigan bball) but it’s about who you’re doing it with

The pizza story is awesome! Hope you had a blast down there man.

Having you and your dad on this site, that’s pretty special. And is also hilariously entertaining.
