Assorted Notes

Obviously Robinson took Coleman’s spot. The staff took him at that time rather than continuing to pursue Coleman. Speculating more than that does not seem to do much good.

Always hard to say why the recruitment stops, we just don’t have access to all the information.

We obviously aren’t privy to all the information, but given all the information that is available it seems really simple…the staff chose Robinson over Coleman

It is unfortunate indeed. I won’t speculate on why the recruitment ended, but I will hope that at least part of the reason is to really put the full court press on 2016.

I know it’s just spilled milk at this point, but this really irks me that Coleman probably wasn’t an ND lean as we all thought, and yet we still stopped the pursuit…perplexing

Per multiple Illinois outlets, #UNLVmbb target Jalen Coleman moved his Illinois visit up a week to this weekend. Down to Rebels and Illini.

Memphis & Michigan State will be in to see 2016 G Josh Langford of Madison Academy (AL) per @BAMAMIXTAPE http://t.co/eesqilo2YX

UM expected to see Langford

I have a feeling Coleman will end up at Xavier alongside Trevon Bluiett or at Auburn with Bruce Pearl and company.

I asked Snow if it affected Coleman, it does not. ND still favored

He only says that because of the Rex commitment. The question becomes does ND have an open scholarship.

As some assumed, this is most likely the reason Coleman gravitates toward ND

@CPY87 good question but I assume Notre Dame is recruiting Jalen Coleman as a point guard

May explain why we seemingly cooled on Bolden later on in the process

Really nice athlete in terms of verticality and strength

We didn’t lead for him either. He could have committed to Michigan at any time over a 14 month period. It’s not like he was offered by Duke and Kansas. He’s likely going to UNLV, maybe Illinois. What’s perplexing is that Coleman strung out his recruitment by Michigan over those two schools. Kinda tells you that there are some things that coaches knew that we don’t. Not necessarily anything shady, either.

Hearing CRP and staff will be in contact with both of these players this week or next. Keep an eye on Dorsey (one time Arizona commit) and Dozier JR.

also keep an eye on the name Jalen Coleman (doesnt have UofL offer as of yet) but the staff may offer him if they cant land Dorsey or Dozier JR

CRP = Coach Rick Pitino?

I hope so, because that’s hilariously lame.

we also know nothing is that “simple”
To suggest otherwise is delusional IMO

Duncan Robinson can PLAY

Based on what?

Your scouting of the player, of course.

From what I’ve seen, I’m not buying.

All jokes aside - do you contribute anything to the form other than snarky remarks about G (most of the time) and myself (some of the time)? - your comments generally have no value as it relates to actual basketball dialogue, you spend your time complaining about others…
