I mean, there are less parity in WBB because the top talent tends to go to powerhouse schools like UConn, Baylor, Stanford, etc. However, the distribution of top talent tends to be more evenly distributed among top teams than it used to be where they pretty much go to UConn or Tennessee back in the days. It’s not surprising that WBB tournament has mostly been chalk. However, the talent gap has shrunk considerably in the last few years but still a long way to go. You can pretty much expect #1 or #2 seed to make the Final Four.
