To the contrary, I would not hesitate to dome Klay Thompson with a sniper rifle
Excuse me?
Has anybody done a piece on the rise of the 3 and D small guard? Feel like we’re seeing more of that type in this playoffs than we’ve seen before? Being able to get up in the shirt of a guard creator and deny switches seems like it’s been underrated. The “3” part also seems to be kind of negotiable. They have such low usage in part bc they put so much energy into playing super high effort D.
Yes I am outing myself as an Alex Caruso stan.
I’m saying I really dislike Klay
Feels like quite the zag. Why?
I think it requires a certain environment?
Mitchell is on ball way too much offensively for my taste and doesn’t do a great job of denying switches
Payton, on the other hand
Mostly it’s his face (Om not saying it’s rational)
I’m also really exhausted by his rings stuff. Steph doesn’t do it
Gotcha. He seems like a character, in a way that isn’t entirely manufactured or narrative driven, so I’ve always been predisposed to liking him.
I will acknowledge I suffer from Warriors exhaustion
Rooting for them at this point feels like rooting for the Yankees or the bank
Whoever wins this series, the next one with the Nuggets should be fun too.
I think the Warriors will demolish the Nuggy Nuggs
Looney might be the single most underrated player in the whole league
Winner of this gets Grizzlies/Lakers
Alex Caruso!
Steph’s D is so much better than JP’s
Not sure a technical was warranted for that.
Let me tell you about Andre Roberson
Ah, that’s right. Suns-Nuggets should be good though.
The revelation of this series for me has been DeAaron Fox
Second is Monk isn’t JAS
Warriors really need to disentangle from the refs
That is a textbook moving screen
How good was their Kentucky team?
