I agree. Not even close to past Davidson teams imo. I was not impressed with Davidson or Richmond at all in that game. Surprised that Richmond won their matchup honestly.
These brackets are landing nicely for me the first couple days. Hoping colgate can knock off wisconsin. I got iowa st in the sweet 16. Almost picked colgate but i didn’t have the balls.

I realize that Davidson didnt deserve to win … Nor does any team that lets Hauser go off. I also realize that the NCAA was dying for the Izzo/K matchup and got duke over seeded to make it happen. But that whistle down the stretch was BRUTAL.
That charge call, with a replay was horrible. How can you be in the circle and moving when a guy leaves his feet and get a call because by the time he collides you’re out of the circle??? Then Hauser loses the ball off a guys knee and they call a foul.
I don’t envy refs and I am sure I would suck at it…but stop anticipating calls and actually watch.

He’s short even by pickup standards and has below average athleticism (approx D3 level). He shouldn’t keep getting put in these positions imo.
And then they follow it up with 2 bad foul calls. One was a simple tie up and the other was knocked straight out of Houser’s hand. 3 straight bad calls.
They blew it themselves.
Davidson had a stretch where msu scored 2 points in 5 minutes.
And was up 1 point.
