Loyola’s offense is in a perpetual torture chamber. That missed layup at the end of the half was a perfect encapsulation of their offense so far.

Wow- they should lead by about 8-10. Aren’t they supposed to be decent? Everyone is playing scared.

It’s so hard to watch. If they learn to hit the bunnies they can still do this in the second half, but this first half was awful to watch
The SEC’s 2-seeds are looking pretty vulnerable. I wish Tennessee was a 2-seed.

I’ve watched a lot of Loyola this year. They have put up a handful of clunkers even in Missouri Valley, but nothing like this.
Would be curious what those shot quality graphs would say. Feels to my eyes like Loyola is getting a lot better looks overall and just punching themselves in the gut
To be fair, to only be down by 5 after that half? The game is easily within reach.
Lots of missed layups all over the place. Might have something to do with that new ball being used.
This is silly…never seen as many missed layups.
I wish Liddell played on another team so I could root for him without feeling dirty

OSU has figured out the right action vs the double and it’s gonna be ugly until LUC counters. Thought it was gonna be that hammer but it’s just basket cut w corner filled behind it. Help has to sink to cutter, leaves too much space.

Doesn’t help LUC is on tilt on O. Every shot rn looks like they’re wondering whether or not it’s a good idea.
Interesting when you check out their KenPom that so many of their dudes seem to shoot 3’s better than you’d expect given their FT%. Wonder if they’ve gotten too used to open looks.
