After careful consideration, I’ve decided that I like MSU / Duke second-round games a lot better than MSU/Duke Elite 8 matchups. Duke still has two chances to leave a sour taste in Coach K’s mouth.

I don’t think Duke won this game. I think Tom Izzo lost it. Running that SLOB through Christie was the death rattle

Thought Coach Izzo totally blew it by slowing it down when MSU was up with about four minutes to go. MSU was taking it to Duke and had Duke’s talented players on their heels.
I think slowing it down allowed Duke to turn the tables, reset themselves, and take it to MSU. Coach Izzo’s attempt to control the game ultimately caused them to give it up.

Purdue is still playing Texas in a bit. But Michigan plus Purdue would be worlds better than Michigan plus Wisconsin.
