I was rooting for Rutgers last night, and will root for Iowa/Indiana and Purdue. But I would find so much joy in MSU/OSU/Wisconsin/Illinois going down this first weekend, or especially in the first round.

I haven’t been chugging the Iowa koolaid, but I have taken a few sips.
Nevertheless, if Iowa losing screws up my bracket, then at least I’ll get to see them lose.

I would not say that I’m cheering for Ohio State because I’m not. But I wouldn’t hate meeting them in the Sweet 16. Would be a really fun matchup. Of course there’s a giant orange wall to overcome first.
I like this Iowa team and am rooting for them to win, but it would still be funny

At long last, there is finally, for probably the first and only time in history, a reason to root for Ohio State.

It looks like the Longwood upset probably isn’t happening.
That said, Tennessee hasn’t beaten Michigan in basketball since Ronald Reagan’s first term.
