No matter how much I loathe OSU, I feel awful for Kyle Young. 3 concussions in one year is awful.

Yeah watching these recurring concussions with Young, and DJ having the same trouble twice in the game, I’m kind of wary or Jones coming back. I hope they’re careful.

I couldn’t tell from the replay whether he hit his head or they knocked shoulders. But I do hope he gets the medical treatment he needs. If there’s any question at all, they should run the neurological tests. It sounds like they’re doing that, so credit to OSU where it’s due.

I think the FT% of the Nova guys suggest they can all shoot. They also put up a ton of 3’s so they’re probably less open than a typical 3pt attempt. They also iso a crapload and don’t get a lot of assists, which also brings down your make rate and bc catch and shoots aren’t super common. Basically, their philosophy drives down shooting percentages and they’re trading higher risk things that lead to more turnovers for more contested shots.
IMO it hinges on if they have an obvious 1v1 matchup they can just keep grinding out points w. If they have that, we’ll have to double and then the wide open 3’s start flying. Houstan seems like the obvious target to me.
If they can’t get that or the pick and pop I like our chances. They don’t have an incredibly diverse offense and I think if you hang tough with them you’ll get into a groove as the game progresses.
