You know what irritates me? I’m so used to rooting for Maryland in the tournament and now they’ve messed it all up. Turgeon had to be a giant whiny baby - I like to see the conference do well in the tourney but I’m running out of teams I can root for.

Why am I supposed to be scared of UConn again? Is it all the jump shots they miss? That is scary.

They already started barking at the opponents’ bench and creating drama.
Personally, I don’t like them when playing Michigan. But I want them to be good so that our apparently new “rivalry” means something more than grown ups fighting on the sideline

Assuming Iowa gets it done, if Maryland could win this, suddenly the Big Ten will look solid after that tough start. That would make us 6-3 in the first round.

I think I mentioned that my HS played in a tournament (a year or two before I was on varsity) with Mobley’s father (who also played with his brother). We advanced farther than them that year and won the same tournament my senior year, but the Mobley “Twins” from Salesian were f’n terrifying.

If I’m Oregon I would have rather played. I’d want a warmup before playing Iowa. I don’t think fatigue is too big of an issue for Iowa. This is their only game this week.

I guess the benefit to Oregon is Iowa doesn’t get any new tape to evaluate while Oregon gets to dissect Iowa’s GCU footage.

Could be a concern. But the A-10 title game was six days ago and apparently the St Bona players have tested negative, so I don’t know.
