I’m going to say something this forum will call slander. I’ve always been glad Painter’s not our coach. They’re solid, but whatever it is they do, it’s just not what I want.

My first thought was, I hope we get these same refs in our game…and play like it’s Rutgers.
I don’t know that a game like that favors us

He’s not bad. He coaches in a state that produces minimal talent and even has to share it with ISU, but they go bowling every year. But you feel like his program permanently has a ceiling. Same with PU basketball.

I’m no Ferentz fan, but he’s done more with less than Harbaugh.

Purdue hasn’t been to a Final 4 since 1979-80. They’ve won 9 conference championships since then. They’re either the most successful unsuccessful program in CBB or the must unsuccessful successful program.

I know you’re right, I just have a permanent bias because of some random game where he didn’t go for two in a situation where it was the only way to win, then was asked why and argued about it with a reporter. Either totally misunderstood the situation or was just being stubborn. It’s not a reasonable opinion, but it’s my totally random opinion nonetheless.
