Arkansas is losing by 20+ to Baylor
Not a bad look. But Iâd rather not ask my shooter to also dribble it upcourt. I feel like youâd get too much momentum. Inbound it to someone else and then pass it to the shooter - like we did in 2018.
there is grey stuff all over his face
Itâs tough, but: 1. You want to make sure you shooter gets the ball in this situation, and ORU has several guys that you do not want to wind up with the shot; 2. Because of the point differential and the foul situation, Arkansas canât guard him too harshly running downcourt because a foul puts him at the line. Which, again, your best shooter is the guy with the ball.
In 2018 we had, IMO, more guys whom I would be comfortable with taking the shot than ORU did.
I think being able to put up a shot after a jump stop like that is pretty much ideal.
Except for the fact that he missed a lot of 3s in that game, if you asked me to bet on that shot, I thought it was going in.
Great play design to get a pretty good shot to win it.
This seals it for me that Muss really annoys me. Prancing around like you won something when you beat a 15 seed? And your offense is garbage? Câmon dude!
Is it marker residue from the whiteboard? Like, he used his hand to clean it and then absentmindedly rubbed his face afterward?
thatâs as good a guess as any
Nice decision not to guard the guy inbounding the ball. That always works out great.
Meanwhile, the tourney still hasnât had a single buzzer beater.
I guess Abmas gave a very subtle shove on that last shot!
Watch his left hand
Baylor is gonna roast them
Seriously. Eric Musselman has rocketed pretty quickly up my board of least likable college coaches. Last round he was standing on a table like a drunken frat boy in a movie.
Which brings up the pointâŠwho on our current team would we most like to have taking that shot? Iâd say Chaundee.
Adrian Nuñez
Iâd go with Brooks.
CJ Baird
Isaiah Livers
Isaiah Livers
Livers checks in for the last possession and cans a three on a bad foot, Willis Reed style.
