2021 NCAA Tournament Open Thread

It’s fascinating. We all agreed they stunk 20 minutes into the play in game.

I find this tournament’s audio mixing to be downright offensive. Is it just my ears? My tv?

The NCAA is only holding the PAC-12 back. They should become a new division in the NBA’s Western Conference.

Now I see what Josh Christopher saw. Playing against the best for a year before heading to the NBA makes sense. If Arizona State had qualified for the tournament they’d have already crushed a pair of hapless B1G teams and been in the Sweet Sixteen.

Mick Cronin is basically John Wooden, apparently.

Ohio just took a half court shot with 25 seconds on the shot clock.

LSU is jealous.

I bet Creighton didn’t see it coming…

Dear announcer,

Still not right.

Love,
me

I am crazy for wanting FSU to win? I think it’s because of @umhoops saying once that Michigan couldn’t contain Colorado’s pick and pop. Need to stop being influenced so much like that probably

FSU is just better. I prefer Colorado

Not to divulge too many spoilers but cbbguide gives UM a 62% chance over Colorado vs a 60% chance over FSU: it’s an obvious probabilistic choice (not that it matters at this point)

Yeah cu is my second team, trust me we want them despite kenpom ratings. I figured this is what would happen to them tonight though, they really struggle against long and athletic teams.

ugh it’d be nice if Michigan could get in on the Madness instead of trudging through all this chalk. I guess Texas losing is okay, but I wouldve rather played them than Bama

so M-FSU for a date with Bama?

Lol this Kansas USC start is atrocious

Either way, I think FSU and Bama are very winnable games for Michigan. Just need to execute and play tough defense like they always do. The only two teams that scares me are Gonzaga and Baylor.

You got your predictions ready yet?

Not only did we win, but we broke the PAC12. They’re not going to win another game this tourney.

Right again! Turns out Colorado is a lot like Illinois. I need to put together a newsletter. Probably start it out relatively inexpensive.
