A coach aggressively grabbing at a player is always a terrible look, but it’s somehow even worse under … these circumstances.
feels like the end of Izzo’s career will be a Reverse Sprewell rather than a quiet retirement ceremony
You can definitely tell Izzo is feeling better about the season when he gets angry though. When it goes bad he just makes that pouty face and doesn’t say anything.
Sparty overachieved on 3s. Come back to the mean 2nd half.
Remember the mini firestorm after Juwan and Isaiah’s little “incident?” Seems so long ago.
Who is more eager to lick boots, Andy Katz or Jon Rothstein
Did you see Gabe slap Izzos hand away from his jersey.?
In reality this probably isn’t that much different from Juwan and Isiah. Still funny tho!
Will Gabe Brown be in the transfer portal by the end of halftime?
Lol you could see the exact second Gabe reached his limit of izzo’s yelling.
MSU just one big happy family these days, I see.
Seriously. I don’t mind a lot of Isso’s tactics, but putting your hands on a player is too far for me.
If we note Izzo doing that repeatedly on national TV, you gotta assume it’s much less pretty behind the scenes.
The ol’ Woody Hayes, but to his own player
It’s just that close knit family environment. One that consists of a 4’9" father abusing his children endlessly.
I get focusing on details even with a lead, but you would think that Sparty was the one down by double digits.
So I wonder if Brown sees the foor in second half.
Gabe Brown is a good player. Little lazy on D, sure, but he’s a good player and Izzo has just yanked him around all season. It’s total bullsh-t and I don’t fault Brown at all for being fed up with hearing it from the angry toddler.
the MSU comments on the reddit game thread are fascinating
