The team that beat Purdue is getting absolutely smacked by Villanova.

Two OSUs wearing white, black and orange are playing. Cue the Spider-Man vs Spider-Man gif

Maybe I’m confused but I never remember seeing that from Coach B. And I’m not dying on this hill, but it seems like you get in the huddle as the head coach right away, calm the guys down and get your strategy out, let the players talk/share their input, let the assistants talk. But you dont spend 2/3rds of the timeout away from the players.

Not how Beilein operated, that’s correct. But it is still pretty common I think. It was definitely how Amaker operated.

Happy for Villanova – they’ve had some lousy luck this year.

Greg Gard will be happy to hear he’s been passed in the power rankings.

Greg Gard does not count. He is not a coach. He is a giant sentient dung beetle

It’s so bad for Indiana. But as a conference, we’re always complaining about postseasons in other conferences’ backyards and then we do this

Glad to find out specifically what kind of insect he is this time

I’ve got OSU in this one.

Is that a thing?

It’s very much a football thing. Not that I like to talk about our football team.

Oh, I’ve never thought of location having much of any impact on a Final Four result.

Why would ā€œCan Howard get it done in the tournament?ā€ be a narrative?

Unless we get blown out tomorrow, I think that even if we lose it would be kind of ridiculous to have that take on Howard considering the circumstances. LSU is a good team and we’re down arguably our most important player.

Time to bring in the secret weapon off the bench…the beaver deceiver

Agree. Just ask MSU and Detroit.

Yeah, I’m not sure if there’s an exclusive bias in CBB. There’s the Greensboro region for the ACC, but other conferences have equivalents. In CFB, the Rose Bowl is an inherently unfair setup and all the other important games take place in the heart of SEC country.

No idea if FF location has given any advantage historically.

Because people are stupid and like to create narratives. At the very least, early exit by Michigan would be a story. Now it’s more early exit for the Big Ten.

They just got beat by a better team, though.

I’m relatively calm about tomorrow’s game. I think all of the BIG losing had relieved some fan pressure lol
