Football is a little bit different though. 100 players per team and players can declare early. The amount of turnover there is ridiculous because it has to be.
I stopped watching football about 5 years ago my recollection is that there were âcommitableâ and non-commitable offers
WhichâŚwhatever
there is no evidence YET to indicate that Juwan is offering kids that he does not have a real shot, only that the requirement of a visit does not withstand. The only offer outside Beileinâs targets so far is Christopher, but we simply donât know where this is out of blue or there is some connections unknown to us between the new coaching staff and the kid.
A lot of basketball programs have that same commitable/non-commitable offer situation.
On the attack each day podcast yesterday with the Harbaughs, Juwan said he had a kid lined up for an official for a football game already. Said he was really excited to come visit. Wonder who that might be.
Probably his kid
Zeb Jackson. I believe he said that this was a committed recruit.
My read was more along the lines of âcommitted to take an official visitâ than a committed recruit.
I believe that was the case too.
After reading it again, I think that youâre right.
Our friend Matt posted his top 200 for the class of 2020. http://endlessmotor.net/2020-2-2/

13 - PF Scottie Barnes
18 - PG Caleb Love

106 - PF Ben Carlson
145 - PF Scooby Johnson
146 - SG Jayden Stone
no Jace Howard?
Isnât Jace mostly considered a mid-major prospect?
I would expect to see a lot of new interest coming out over the two weeks or so between
a) The coaching staff finally being together
b) NBPA Top 100 Camp
c) June 15th contact day for rising juniors
Dylan, any further insights whether a recruiting coordinator will be part of Juwanâs staff?
I want Marjon Beauchamp. Heâs the Beauchampion of the West.
I would pay a lot more attention to the guy one spot ahead of him on Mattâs list (Nimari Burnett).
Canât leave off Nimari Burnett! Michigan probably has as good a shot at him as anyone on the list.
Was editing as you typed!
I havenât heard anything specific as far as additional names. None of the non-coaching staff roles have been announced yet, so will probably be a handful of new names.
