2020 - F - Isaiah Todd (Commit)

I don’t think you’re getting too far ahead. It obviously isn’t likely that all of them sign, but I think we’re favorites for all 5 of those guys. If I were to put percentages on this, it would look like:

Zeb: 95%
Jace: 80%
Moody: 60%
Dickinson: 55%
Todd: 50%

If you multiply my hypothetical percentages, it’s a 12.5% chance we land all of them. I think each one of them signing is likely more or less independent of the other, since they all play different positions (if you count Zeb as a PG). Then again, my percentages might be too optimistic.

is duke looking to get both hunter and mark williams or is it a matter of they get one center, we get the other?

I agree with everyone above. I’ll also optimistically add my opinion that if somehow Juwan were to land Todd, Dickinson and Moody, I think there is a very legitimate chance Juwan would be able to sell a prestigious prospect like Josh Christopher or Nimari Burnett to come in and be the superstar of the class.

Even if they do want both I don’t think both would want to be there. Just my opinion though.

I’d be okay with splitting the difference haha. Dylan said it’s pretty likely Williams goes Duke so in that case we’d be in a good position with Hunter.

They want both. Don’t have any other centers on the roster.

Todd’s ranked higher than either Christopher or Burnett. I think I value the latter two more than Todd, but hard to argue that if Todd’s in he’s not the star.

Christopher looks like he’s higher than Todd on 247 and 247 composite.

I would agree on the fact that I think Christopher drives the play and therefore would score a lot more in college. However, I think Todd has insane NBA potential and already has skills to work with.

Todd is 6 inches taller, just as athletic, and is a better shooter than Christopher I’m pretty sure, so I could be wrong and Todd could end up as the better player in college as well.

50% for Todd to stick? I put him closer to Jace in likelihood to commit.

Hmm, near 80%? I’m saying this off of their likelihood to sign though, which is why I gave Zeb 95% and not 100%.

I think he’s like 80% likely to commit, but then people are saying he might go overseas so that decreases the chances of him eventually signing a bit.

He’ll sign. He’s deciding before the early signing period in November. The question is just where he plays.

I’d also put Jace a little lower.

Definitely. Meant that as no shot to Todd, and I’d say it’s between Todd and Christopher for most talented prospect. Just that Nimari supposedly wants the ball in his hands and Christopher has been very vocal about his brand. Becomes a more fun pitch to both if it turns into “come be the centerpiece of the new Fab Five”

Ahh yes, that’s what I meant. My bad.

Fab Five. Fresh Five. Juwan’s 2020 class will his … First Five

I am kind of rooting for Juwan to sign either 4 or 6 players in 2020 to avoid any Fab 5 comparisons or storylines.

You don’t want to hear the announcers bring it up every single game?

I’m really going to miss how they did that with JB. Hey did you guys know he was never an assistant coach?!

Brandon Jennings, too. Was committed to AZ.

… Terry Armstrong (although in many of these cases there are academic issues). I don’t think that’s the case with Todd.

Wasn’t Todd at Kansas this past weekend? With his mother being active in his recruitment, you have think that after the shenanigans there that UM is a no brainer.

I wonder if Bill Self showed her his chains. Such a cool guy.

Todd was in Lawrence for Snoop Dog, pole dancers and Snoop $100 bills being fired out of air canons? With his Mom? With the NCAA allegations all over the news? And Kansas is still a finalist?

Todd @ -250, you say?
