I think way too many people do that, and there is NEVER an appropriate time to reach out to recruits or current players on social media imo. But you are overestimating that. I found out from this site because ONE person posted it, like Vanarbor is saying. Now other sites are picking it up from this, and people are checking and its spreading. I don’t even have a twitter or instagram account and yet when I looked today I knew it was different from when I looked before for following recruiting and highlights.
So I don’t think you are in the minority. At all.

That would make sense. Some things are a lot bigger than basketball.
A lot of schools are officially announcing they won’t hold high school graduation ceremonies etc. It could be anything.

Doesn’t he have to sign next week anyway. At what point does this become a joke already since he wouldn’t sign in November. Time is up with these games.

He can’t sign until April 15 and that would have zero effect on his playing overseas.

It would be asinine to refuse to allow Todd a scholarship at this point unless there off the court issues we don’t know about.

My guess is either his mom put her foot down and said he’s going overseas or with all this roster attrition Michigan needed to make a move and unfortunately this is the move.

I hear you! But as noted, we may have to make some decisions before he has full visibility, and so cutting a less than 100% probability of Todd where we are otherwise well-stocked on the roster may be viewed internally as the best option.
Maybe Brown wants to come.
This is obviously all uninformed speculation and I should prob stop, because it puts unfair pressure on people. Just hope for the best for everyone involved.
