Tbf Painter drew up a pretty great out of bounds play that generated a wide open missed layup late in the game and his team is shooting like 40% from the ft line. Not much you can do. At least he didn’t draw up a play involving two passes and a timeout with 1.7 seconds left.

I know Painter’s a great coach. But his teams have consistently blown big leads in NCAA tournament games and he had the one guy who hasn’t missed in 25 minutes glued to the bench to start OT for some reason
I think he was going for offensive/defensive because he has 4 fouls. But yeah, not sure how he thought he was gonna sub him back in.

State just saps your resolve. Fantastic defensively and multiple second chance attempts while dominating the glass.
Plus they’re gonna grind and compete every possession relentlessly.
Amazing what they’ve got out of that roster this year.
