2019 - G - Cole Bajema (Commit)

If it’s really The Leap or even A Leap, that’d be just huge. For this year AND next. Respect due for perseverance. I wouldn’t have been surprised to see him transfer after last year.

Your point is great and valid for Cole just as much as Franz. The early season progress of Eli/DDJ (if they sustain this level of play) allows our freshmen to be who they are and develop at the rate they’re ready for. Nothing needs to be forced.

That’s been the plan all along… Franz to play a decent amount, and Cole to learn and grow. Now we can take comfort this years’ roster allows for that

That’s not necessarily true ( about him being in the nba and not college). There are a few players who played well in pros but went the college route. Some players want to experience college and play less games before they head to the nba. Remember these kids play tons of games during their prep/pro career. For instance you don’t have to dominate to dominate overseas to make it pro. Look at Sekou Doumbouya, he was not dominate. In fact, very few young pros from overseas dominate the nba and some feel the college route would be better for development. For ever Luca we have a Darko. Franz said that he wanted to try a new environment. There are tons of foreign players that attend college to develop more . Maybe he wanted the college experience before going pro. Actually that’s his reason for coming to michigan because he had a opportunity to develop like his brother did.

Livers is playing the 4 now.

Primarily, but he sees time at both.
