What is everyone's favorite recipe

o shid mgl is my mother in law

This is probably blasphemous to Mrs Boutros but thereā€™s a very nice Butter Chicken instant pot recipe that is probably the tastiest thing I make. With the caveat that in my current state I go for easy and cheap

Saw this online, had to try to make it, donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever had anything better:

haha why would this be

Itā€™s a non authentic version of an Indian dish

I am clearly not a vegetarian but trying to eat less meat

Indian/Pakistani cuisine is one of the few things that make me feel like Iā€™m not missing anything when being meatless

And Aloo Gobi my favorite by far

Me either, but now Iā€™m thinking I should try something. I may report back with results

I have never been as crushingly full as after Ethiopian

As my son said ā€œyouā€™re eating ā€œthe forkā€ every biteā€

Iā€™m sure Iā€™m missing some, but off the dome Iā€™ll take injera, chocolate babka, shokupan, sourdough, and if they count, bagels.

(Baguette seemed too obvious, but if Iā€™m having a good pan bagnat, I might change my mind)

Yeah that recipe is very ā€œwait I donā€™t have this but I do have thatā€. Gotta stay true to the cucina povera spirit and whatnot.
