Who knows. Disagree that it means anything in terms of how they come out and play against Michigan. They could play like they did against osu at home or they could play like they have in about half their big ten games and “lay an egg.” Personally I don’t think they are that good especially with the way Trimble is playing lately.
I don’t see any Belein 4s in that group which is a huge problem. Either JB needs to change his system to fit the talent he has or he needs to recruit players who fit his system better.

Their underachieving imo. Their talent should do better. They should be running whole offense through stone, like they did versus us. He’s that good and could carry them. I feel like seasons have flows ect. No way they crap out again I feel. Which puts us in a precRious position, another upset for us and we need to play out of our minds to do so. Sadly I don’t see it.
This sums up exactly how I feel. This years struggles were built starting 3 years ago when JB and his staff continually missed out on player after player on the recruiting trail. Recruiting got worse after the NC run, not better, and that was maddening to me and others at the time because we knew that it was setting up for a mediocre future.

Has the recruiting really gotten worse? I quit worrying about recruiting rankings and recruiting in general long ago but it seems like it’s stayed pretty steady. The biggest difference just seems like guys havnt panned out as the coaches had hoped they would to this point in time. Combine that with injuries and you get the mixed bag that is this team.
Yeah our recruiting has been about the same every year except for the 2012 class being an outlier (who coincidentally led us to the two outlier seasons in Beilein’s tenure).

If you know what to watch for when looking at a kids tape or watching him personally recruiting absolutely got worse.
Something interesting about the Maryland game if we win we move to 3rd in the conference loss and we fall to 8th. Let’s hope our boys play with a chip on their shoulder and come fired up!

I hate to say it but with marylAnd getting upset I see us getting their top game and getting smashed. I really hope I’m wrong. I just can’t see them losing again. We would have to shoot the lights out. Just bad timing to meet them
Purdue Indiana is a big game today. A Purdue loss gives us 1 loss better record then them going into tomorrow. An Indiana loss and we are a game out of 2nd going into tomorrow. The B1G is closer then ever this year at the top!
