NCAA 2021: Michigan vs. LSU Open Thread

All these stoppages hopefully keep hunter fresh

The ā€œfoulā€ on the 3 pointer matched with the late call on BJJ - not sure you can have two worse calls in a game than that.

Stage is too big? Cmon with that. He can handle the stage. Not a great matchup though

Get Eli back in and go with our best lineup. This isn’t hard.

That may have been the worst possession I’ve ever seen from Mike. What in the world was he doing?

Smith gonna need a helmet and pads. Poor guy

Not intentional.

One rule of reffing in every pre-game is ā€œCall The Obviousā€

EDIT: Okay I thought it was intentional. My bad

Hunter needs to touch the ball every time down the court unless you have a wide open catch and shoot 3… Wasting possessions otherwise. Any PnR should just be to force a switch.

I guess that was more of a reckless disregard kick than a premeditated, malice aforethought kick.

i get what your saying but huge difference between a non-call and a foul call

Yeah, Mike’s length is more of an issue than the stage

No, that wasn’t a kick. Yes, the ball hit him in the leg / foot, but he never kicked at it. Good no-call.

I did think that the LSU player traveled under the basket though, when he drove in, panicked, and passed back out.

This guy is an awesome dancer. Therealmirman approved ad :+1:

I expect the refs to completely swallow their whistles here pretty quick. The lack of calls on obvious fouls is unnerving. Gotta get hunter back involved to close this out

I just think he’s too small.

Ok. Bad matchup…but he looks really indecisive tonight

Juwan has a chance to win or lose this game. Smith should not play the rest of this game. This is not the matchup for him
