Sheesh this place has gotten fun in the last 24 hours. Now everyone hates Iggy because of body language and attitude? Dude’s one of the most fun guys to watch that the school has ever had.

Agree that it’s kinda silly. But he does it with such good humor. I just don’t see how this kid is a threat.

Maybe its because i coach 9th grade boys and they all emulate that behavior, making everything about themselves and I think its poor sportsmanship. I didn’t say I hated Iggy, that he’s the only one that does it, or it makes him a bad person, just less likeable in my eyes

Your perception is Brazdeikis makes everything about himself. I think he would differ with your opinion. I bet he feels he’s celebrating with his teammates, or maybe he thinks something completely different.

Don’t know if you saw Coach B’s pre-Florida presser today, Coach, but he noted that Iggy will not be flexing at the opposing team in future games. Sounds like flexing for the crowd is acceptable to the coach but not at opposing players.

Sheesh, no one said they “hated” Iggy. Calm down. Sorry my opinion doesn’t conform to your own.
I’ll admit my comment was a little over-sensitive, for that I apologize. It seems like frustrations are high with the team’s performance, individual player performance and now individual players for non-basketball reasons. Those three added together in the Montana post-game had me a little agitated because I thought the team performed exactly how we should expect a 6-loss, 2 seeded team to perform en route to a 20 point victory. Iggy has been behaving this way all year and I’m surprised this is the first time his antics have been discussed negatively in this forum, even though I am fine with them personally. But others are certainly welcome to disagree, I’m just hoping collectively we enjoy the ride this postseason for (hopefully) two more weeks

I suppose it’s a good sign about the state of our program that we’re worried about stuff like this instead of, like, not being in the tournament, or losing a game, or even being in a close game with an inferior team. I’ll take it.
