Interesting to basically run the reversal of the last week of the season (assuming no upsets) and play a Maryland team they just throttled before seeing an Iowa team that eviscerated them.
We’ll be there for any and all of them!

Both Olivia & Syla were named to the All-B1G First Team and BQD made the All-Defensive Team.
Congrats to the three of them. I honestly think Syla is a bit high here (even if the first team is 10 people) - I’d have a hard time putting her over Grace VanSlooten or the scorer on Indiana whose name escapes me. I also…sorta…think Mila Holloway was better (Mila only gets HM, which I think is a crime)
I appreciate better teams being given deference for postseason awards. I’m worried Mara and Morez are going to be snubbed in the men’s awards by players with better counting stats.
Swords/Michigan finished in a tie for second, four games ahead of MSU and nine games ahead of Indiana. Although Ciezki had a great year, she is akin to Nick Martinelli. She did make the media first team though. Just not the coaches. That’s probably fair for a player putting up stats on a bad team.
Maryland (11-7) best player got on with similar impact probably to VanSlooten (whose team finished 11-7).
I also, as I said, am not convinced Swords was our second best player this year.
How many teams are there? HM?
three
first and second team are 10 players, third is 5.
Holloway should been on one then. Thats a joke.
she was honorable mention
Shes one of the top 25 players in the league.
I feel like this has pretty much been the majority feeling by anyone who watches Michigan women’s basketball closely. I agree completely.
#6 Maryland up 3 vs #11 Oregon with 9 minutes left.
We get the winner tomorrow at 9 PM.
Who are we rooting for?
Wasn’t Oregon that crazy double overtime free throw calamity game earlier this year?
Oregon up 2 with 2:36 left
Yes. And Michigan just trounced Maryland last weekend. But would be Oregon’s third game in three days
16-38 on free throws
Don’t think I’ve ever seen that stat line.
Note: this is a pretty good game.
Not fouling here is a real choice.
A bad choice
Terrible decision not to foul there
