Not saying that the Rally Lens™ did all the work but Michigan went down 3-1 in the bottom of the 5th so I grabbed it for the 6th. An RBI-double from Conway and a 2-run HR from Putz later, and we have the lead!

Rough game against Texas. We had a 1-0 lead after the first inning and that was as good as it got.
They’ll play the loser of UCF vs. Illinois State at around 6pm tonight. With a win, they’ll get another crack (maybe two) against Texas tomorrow. If they lose, the season is over.
Michigan and UCF are tied at 3 in the bottom of the 3rd. Michigan was on the wrong side of a missed call at the plate. The ump called Langford out but replay looked like she was safe by maybe an inch. Replay didn’t think it was obvious enough to overturn.

Two errors, a bases loaded walk, and a 3-run double gives UCF a 7-4 lead. Yuck.
Michigan responds with 4 runs of their own. Fantucci, who had both errors in the top of the inning, started it all off with a double.

And we’re down again, 10-8. I think maybe the Texas heat (between 90-100 both days, with it hotter on the field) may be taking a toll on the pitchers. The wind has also been blowing out today.
The one bright side is that we’ve scored every inning and bat last.
