And they still had the #9 defense (on Torvik) in his last year! That team was so messed up - Thomas, then Craft, Scott, Lenzelle Smith, Sam Thompson…just a team built on the Iverson principle (1 scorer, 4 guys to account for the scorers failure to defend).

he was a pretty big bust. And I saw the kid in HS, he was nearby, so I didn’t have ill will towards him like I did some OSU players

My dad took me and my brother to go see State at Welsh-Ryan as a kiddo and they just wrecked Northwestern. Respert was clearly the coolest dude on the floor. Remember being confused why so few people were there. Not even sure in retrospect why we went, we were a UM family.
