Is this what defense to offense looks like? I can barely remember.
Jett, FTs please
Jettâs gonna have to start running stairs in practice
âBeautifulâ basketball resulting in a TWill almost airball from the corner
The idea of a 2-for-1 completely overwhelmed Jett with excitement to the point that he fell over.
Well that was fun. Pretty energized for just changing 6 time zones.
6 points (2-3 shooting), 2 threes (2-2), 4 assists, 2 steals, 1 turnover and (1?) questionable decision on that attempted floater he took and missed in transition after one of his steals for Dug McDaniel in the first half of his first start.
I mightâve been a bit quick on the trigger there. Helps to read the full post I guess
With Llewellyn gone, Dug realized he should not shoot every time he touched the ball
Kind of a chaotic last 10-12 possessions for us. Interesting to see how we come out second half.
Dug looked extremely comfortable taking those 3s, in rhythm and no hesitation. I donât mind him getting 3-4 attempts a game now to keep the defense honest.
Senior Zavier Simpson stuff right there
Worse than questionable. But way later than when I figured I would write down a play like that in my notes.
Easier to hit singles when you know youâre getting 4 at bats in the leadoff spot than if you pinch hit once per game down 3 in the 9th with the bases loaded
(I think thatâs a horrible metaphor but in my head it makes perfect sense)
Do you write notes on pen and paper
I donât really write on paper ever, so no.
Was it bad because he wasnât able to score or because it was too telegraphed what he wanted to do? I like his intent to drive the ball into the paint there against backpedaling d is the right move there, but maybe a bit too obvious he wanted to finish it off himself.
Just realized Michigan doesnât play until NEXT Saturday against Lipscomb (12/17) Will be a nice, well deserved break. Hopefully they can get some good practices in as well.
Final exams!
