Yeah I mean we have a pro coach it might take him some time to install a coherent college system on both ends like Beilein always had on O and had to worse effect on D with the 131 as a plan B and then realized he needed to recruit DCs and hand it over to them like a football coach.
I figured we’d see a ton of zone on D based on Miami being a top 3 zone using team in the NBA but offense was always gonna be full of turnovers post Beilein.
One of the more frustrating things to me this season has been what a small percentage of the game we have been playing our best 2-3 lineups in. Fine vs the MAC, but this is a step up in competition and it’s showing.
Better than the lineup with Davis.
Glad Juwan responded with our longer more athletic lineup; John’s and Brown are going to have to log a lot of minutes; Smith can’t stay in front and Franz can’t stay on the floor.
The energy from Williams and Johns is the catalyst that got us a mini run there before the 8min TO. I don’t really like the lineup, but it worked for a few minutes.

I wonder if this is the beginning of seeing us move to Brooks and Smith splitting the 40 minutes at PG equally and only playing together 5-10 a night so we can be bigger on defence and hit the offensive boards for the other 30-35 minutes.
