Its amazing that this is the end result of the 2016 class. I remember the recruiting of that class. It was supposed to be the recruiting bump class from the 2011 to 2014 run. In their sophomore summers there was that epic UM elite camp that had all of that 2016 talent(Thornton, leaf, Winston, battle, teske etc.). There was time where reputable people were talking about a Thornton, leaf, battle or Langford, and teske) class and um was viewed as the favorite(not just by um writers but national guys) for leaf, teske, Langford, and Thornton. Beilein ended up whiffing on them all. I wont lie after the struggles of 2014 and 2015 plus all of the 2016 recruiting whiffs resulting in the Davis, teske, Watson, and simpson class I thought that it was pretty much it for Beilein and that the program would never get back to top 10 heights.

Thornton was 2015. But yeah the Battle/Langford thing led us to have to take Ibi.

nope Thornton reclassed, he was 2016 when um was recruiting him

CJ Baird nowadays is basically a fringe rotational player in the worst case scenario lol.
So I think Juwan was just trying to get some other guys who don’t get garbage time shine some minutes,
Well, not that it was a serious concern, but we’re definitely in the tournament now no matter what, with 10+ Big Ten wins to go with our non-conference performance. If we had lost out and finished 18-14 (9-11) … we probably still would have gotten in but would have been sweating it out. I admit that this thought crossed my mind for an instant at the end of the first half. Fortunately we quickly took care of business after halftime.
Not sure if it’s been mentioned, but if it hasn’t, Teske was in a lot of tears at the end of the game addressing his parents to the crowd. Brought me to tears as well.
X was business-like as usual and ended the night off by making Teske lead the crowd in singing one last HTTV

My man has scored 26 points on 13 shots. Averaging 2 points per shot is pretty good, I think.

Dude can shoot for sure. Really hope he stays and can make the jump to be a contributor next year. Gonna need some shooters on the roster.

For a team struggling to shoot from deep and desperately needed someone to hit from threes I would like to see him out there even if he’s lost in other ways. Today would have been a great day tob experiment.
