Looks like the incredible Davis run has ended. Even against Nebraska he doesn’t look like a B1G level player
I’ve noticed that the last couple of games too. Seems to be spiking the ball under the basket quite a bit.
Hope he steps up his consistency game soon…looks like he’s comin back and gonna be the big man next season.

Hate to say this but the first half drought started when Eli,Jon and Isaiah come out for a rest.
Yes but that’s not really fair on that 6-0 run. Zavier did not play well and was the reason for that 6-0 run.

Simpson had two turnovers there. Dave had a pull-up 18 footer on a no-pass possession. Davis and Johns botched a PNR defense.
I wouldn’t put that whole 6-0 run on Simpson. Michigan’s offense and defense have looked worse across the board in both halves when DDJ/Johns/Austin have been on the court.
4 of those 6 points were directly tied to his turnovers. He also missed a wide open Franz on his first turnover. Not bagging on Simpson and I agree the bench has struggled tonight, but that mini run was all Simpson. If I recall, the first two points Davis actually played good defense and Cheathem made a tough layup over him.
