Downright sickening these shots they’re hitting
Have we ever made as many luck shots in a game as the Buckeyes in this one? Three 3’s off glass AND the crazy twos.
recruiting absolutely wins games, Beilein didnt start winning until he had rosters full of nba guys
Talk of recruiting in a game thread means it’s time for me to shuffle along. See y’all next game.
Anyone not focusing on that call against Teske has clearly been kicked in the nuts so many times you don’t feel it anymore. You shouldn’t tolerate that. You should be outraged. That changed the game. It was absurd. It’s a Wymer crew. This league does this to us deliberately.
Team will prolly go 1-1 in the Big Dance. Good enough for Juwans first year. Making the tourney was the goal.
Yeah. They’ve outscored us by A LOT in the second half. But I would STRONGLY argue that we’ve gotten the better looks. We’ve gotten looks inside and outside, they’ve just resorted to jacking up midrangers and three pointers, and I swear all of them have gone in.
Looks like 10-10 and hope there isn’t a flat game against Neb
@umhoops does it seems like teams hit an unusual number of tough contested shots against us? Or is that just my imagination?
It wouldn’t be a BTT without Michigan in the 8/9 game or early time slots anyway. Last year was the anomaly.
Two 3-pt bank shots for OSU today. No way we’re winning against that.
Beilein didn’t think this roster was going anywhere and left. Juwan has been a miracle worker.
Yup, that’s my point. It’s impossible to beat a team that hits the stuff they’ve been throwing up. if they’re actually this good, they’ll win the national championship. If not, we just got unlucky and ran into a buzzsaw. Again.
It’s the last post I’ll make on the topic, but anyone who hasn’t gone back to look at the call on Teske in slo motion needs to do so. I went in with an open mind as we didn’t get a replay. I turned the game off as soon as I was able to watch that in slo mo. Ridiculous. Check it out.
I agree that it changed the game; who knows what would’ve happened if the correct call was made.
But the way that OSU has hit shots after that isn’t usual and you can’t blame all of that on the call, so they absolutely deserve to win. We just ran into the second team in a row that has just played their best shooting game of the season.
Down goes the over on Wagner 3!!
And yet it literally happened at the exact moment that Teske was emerging as the pivotal player in the game. He had frustrated Wesson down low, made a brilliant intercept of a post feed, scored down low and then they did that for his 4th foul. That’s pretty much deliberate.
I could live with Indiana or Purdue in the first game of the BTT, but it’s a shame U-M seems unable to dig out of that and get to the 6th or 7th seed.
Ok. Let’s try to regroup and breathe here. Before the season started I think we’d all be pleased with going 10-10 in conference and probably getting a 7 or 8 seed in the Tourney.
I still think this team can be dangerous. My prediction is that they win Round 1, and put up a fight but lose in Round 2. Again, probably better than most of us would’ve expected.
Team just can’t afford a starter having bad games. Teske always has bad games since he plateaued. The bench is thoroughly mediocre. No depth.
