Game 21: Michigan at Penn State Open Thread

Hunter going from great passing out of doubles to turnover machine is frustrating.

Jett gives up just as many points as he gets sometimes, I don’t think it’s working out in his favor today.

1.68 is just…gross

You know, I honestly don’t know why Penn State isn’t undefeated. The may be the best offensive team I’ve ever seen.

I don’t wanna hear anyone saying this is ā€œbad shooting luckā€ or whatever. Calling this matador defense is a massive understatement.

No Will Tschetter or Tarris Reed in the first half. Any rational reasons why?

I think tarris was first off the bench

I think Tschetter must not have come in because he’s a defensive liability

Was he? I don’t remember him being in the game, and he’s not listed in the espn.com box score as having entered the game.

Juwan is clueless. Only reasonable explanation

He played a few minutes.

Yikes. Hopefully the death from above will stop next half,

Ok. I must have turned my head and missed Tarris’s shift.

Reed played.

He was definitely in briefly

Well, they are playing with the surgical gloves on. 2 fouls in the first half. Juwan worries if they foul out, and he plans to use their fouls after they are smoked out of the court.

What happened to the mantra ā€œplay them close until you find out what gum flavor they chewā€. Embarrassing.

He got in

I seem to recall Yaklich saying a mantra of his defensive philosophy is to ā€œcontest every shot with every fiber of your being.ā€

We need to get back to that. The half hearted contests that we put out there are just embarrassing.
