I feel the same way. Maybe I’m totally off base here, but I feel like RU and PSU are similar. But PSU is annoying and RU is fun. (Maybe the undefeated thing plays into it, but I’m not sure.)

Rutgers has several players who are really good at making mid-range jumpers but Michigan’s defense is designed to funnel opponents into those shots.
Rutgers actively looking for them plays into Michigan’s hand. Hard to keep up when almost 2 out of every 3 shots are pull-up 2s.

Honest question. Why was Twill playing in your opinion? Didn’t see any foul trouble, he hasn’t played in a while, and no one ahead of him was playing bad. Love the kid, don’t mean to say anything bad about him, but I’m curious why everyone thinks Juwan decided to play him. Matchup?

Load management maybe? Or he feels TWill is good enough for minutes on the reg and he is trying to get him some in tight situations? I think it’s kinda weird though.

Would be nice if we can hold an 8+ point lead and let Brown/Johns/Williams get some more PT so Livers/Wagner don’t play the whole 2nd half again.

Great point on PSU too. Definitely agree. Rutgers also has the RAC which makes them a lot of fun. I felt terrible neither program got to play in the tournament last year.

I guess I’m wondering why it’s not a Brandon johns type of game. He started well, had a few issues on defense, but know how to play against Rutgers
