I think intially Howard was going to replace Dickinson with Johns but Maryland brought in the Big guy so he brought in Davis too.

This is the kind of shift I think it’s logical for Davis to get (at least until and unless Williams, Jackson or Howard develop into a rotation guy). Maryland’s giant backup center is out there. We can steal a couple 3-4 minutes shifts against other team’s backup centers when it’s a plodder with Davis out there IMO. He’s solid on O.
But Marial has just left the game and yeah might make sense to downsize immediately in response and get another shooter out there who can move his feet on D.
