Game 10: Michigan at Illinois Open Thread

He constantly improves almost every aspect of his game. I’m so impressed with his development.

Yeah, it’s like a layup drill. Gotta stop the ball and force those mid-range jumpers.

I was hoping Howard would have subbed in Castleton when Cockburn was out. Cockburn can’t keep up with the pace. Keeping Teske fresh so he can run the floor is gonna have Cockburn heaving by game’s end.

Underlying feeling that if this pace/scheme/flow continues, it favors UM. We have X.

Well that was predictable

Cockburn gets to push whoever he wants I guess.

Danger time

Missing every loose ball it seems…

Not a real productive unit in there at the moment.

Can we please stop them from getting into the lane? Rebounding needs to get better too.

Can we please rebound the freaking ball

Do they have to shoot anything outside of 15 feet?

Not with this lineup lol

We had a chance when it was 13-10 to open out a nice lead and went cold. Now it feels like a dangerous point.

Illinois playing out of their minds right now.

Illinois’ first points from outside of six inches from the rim.

Zavier Simpson’s basketball IQ is really incredible on both ends of the court. Makes reads and passes on offense that very few people can, blows up plays on defense with his recognition.

1.1 PPP for Illinois
.89 for Michigan

Guys like Johns, Castleton and DeJulius have had big moments this year, but still tough to count on them on the road.

Trial by fire. Only way.
