I really like that rotation for a first game. Each reserve getting at least 5 minutes of run.

Juwan starting with a 9-man rotation likely will be down to 8 by the Big 10 season.

I’ll never understand Juwan’s penchant for “weird” lineups at times when the game was about to be blown wide open.

Seems he has a set plan that can’t be deviated from when it comes to substitution patterns.

I just thought the limited Barnes flashes we have seen have seemed promising enough to crack the top 9 more than Jace.

No YoYo makes sense to me. No Barnes until Garbagé time against this team seems a bit ominous

I think some of this is a natural part of basketball… Hunter has to sit at some point and its usually going to be after he’s played 8-10 minutes or whatever when it feels like things are starting to be blown wide open.

Understandable. But man there has been plenty of times that his substitution patterns over the years have totally defused obvious present momentum.

I mean the think with Isaiah is that his role – make open shots – is the same thing you are counting on Kobe, Jett and Joey to do.

If you are pissed off your team can’t rebound or defend at certain points… you aren’t putting Isaiah in the game.
