Is Bowling Green hitting that many crazy shots? They are basically getting downhill over and over.
Maybe saving for second half. Smith w 10 pts.
Bowling Greenās bigs were a liability but Michigan has had a lot of trouble guarding this super small lineup with Daeqwon Plowden at the five.
BGSU spreading U-M out and getting downhill to the bucket.
The tip in was tough, fadeaway over Livers, a couple tough finishes inside
Looks a top of the MAC projection for Bowling Green might be justified?
Donāt like that Twill at the 5 lineup with Turner in there.
Is getting killed at the rim by downhill drives a result of going so small? Or was going small the only adjustment we had and it didnāt work? Doesnāt feel like it was happening with a true center on the floor.
Do you think weāll see any zone looks this evening? I assume not but; we could field a 2-3 with enormous length.
Would like to see something from Eli
What does Turners presence have to do with the small ball? Heās gonna be Omni present out there
Iām wondering if weāll see a zone soon?
Such a quiet half for Eli so far
Itās too easy for him to score in there with no bigs.
Man these zoom announcers are lagging pretty far behind the action.
Williams is aggressive. Itās not super effective so far, but I like it!
Not sure Davis will do anything to stop it so Dickinson is the only choice and their small ball C was raining 3s
Was not joking when I said Juice Turner would be the best guard in this game.
I liked the Johnās look better but I was kind of ok with all those off the dribble threes.
Did the broadcast miss a Franz free throw? Why did he only shoot one there? Or did I miss it?
Me too. Itās one half, but if this is any indication Iām not seeing the breakout offensive star we thought we might need. He has all the tools and will likely be our best player regardless, but I bet it looks similar to last year. Good news is, I donāt think the team needs the new bigger offensive role from him to be successful.
