I am less concerned with DDJ and Nunez not looking the part than I am our ability to run at a pace that far exceeds that run by Coach B.

X made plenty of errors pushing pace and Livers handles not what most of us expected may mean backing off as we get into the season.

I know this doesn’t matter and I promise I won’t flood message boards with this all year, but Jalen Wilson played a whopping two minutes for Kansas tonight and was 0-1 from the field with a foul and a turnover.

The question becomes whether our TP% becomes problematic. We’ll always have more raw turnovers if we’re running at this pace. But, I agree. It will be interesting to see “Beilein guys” adjust to this new pace and style. I think they will–but some growing pains are certainly evident.

You may be right on CC. He has looked far more solid at times than anyone else outside the top 4. Not that that is saying much.

I was kidding. I’ve never understood fans that trash their own players. Yeah, point out flaws or weaknesses but just to label players as bad irks me.

I only watched half of the game, but if I have to point to tonight’s biggest silver lining I definitely choose Eli’s performance. Bad X tonight or no, we’ve definitely got a second guard who can really contribute. We’re just all going to be holding our breath until Franz returns. . .

I was wondering if he wanted to let them work through it, learning experience maybe? At some point you gotta see their clearly flustered and making dumb mistakes and call the time out.

I know I couldn’t help but think that. Very sad. Must have been frustrating for him to watch his team miss about 10 point blank lay ups.

Might be that it’s harder to see from the floor, but when you see a team lose all focus over a couple of minutes. . . I used to go crazy sometimes wishing Beilein would call a quick time out and sternly demand that everyone get their stuff together.
